Earthquake is a common natural disaster, and the prediction of earthquake is aworldwide problem. In order to avoid the heavy losses caused by the earthquake, tofind an effective method of imminent earthquake early warning is the hard directionof the earthquake researchers. In recent years, scientists have found that monitoringof the geomagnetic anomaly signal of imminent earthquake is one of effectivemethods of impending earthquake early warning.This Paper discussed the research background and status of magneticmeasurements earthquake, proposed the design of earthquake early warning systemon the basis of explore seismomagnetic relations. The working principle of thesystem is real-time monitoring the earth’s magnetic field vertical component Z andmagnetic north point α. This paper proposed a measure method of geomagnetic thatis using three-axis magnetoresistive sensor measuring three-axis component of thegeomagnetic field, using the accelerometer get the instrument’s pitch angle and rollangle, through the coordinate transformation to complete tilt compensation of themagnetic signal. Proposed a geomagnetic anomaly threshold discrimination methodby the analysis of the geomagnetic anomaly signal, also to make the hardware andsoftware design of earthquake early warning system. On the hardware part, thepaper completed the design of power supply circuit, micro controller circuit,magnetic signal acquisition circuit, the attitude angle measurement circuit,human-computer interaction of circuit and the data communication circuit. Andthrough the LCD achieve real-time monitoring of the magnetic signal, at the sametime it can upload data to the PC. On the software part, system via data acquisition,filtering and coordinate transformation to achieve the function of parameter display,abnormal alarm and data transmission. The system used removal of extreme valuemean filtering algorithm to reduce the system false alarm rate.This system can be used alone as an earthquake warning device, also can beused as a geomagnetic anomaly detection node access to earthquake early warningsystem. The system has the characteristics of miniaturization, low cost, strongscalability, and applies to the families, schools and other public places.
