The damage to laser propagation which was caused by atmospheric turbulence greatly influenced the long-distance transmission of laser, and has seriously hampered the development of free-space laser communication. Therefore, the detection of atmospheric turbulence characteristics is necessary condition for the study of laser transmission in the atmospheric turbulence. Detector based on micro-lens array was used to detect the turbulence cell of air convective, and the results were analyzed in detail.Firstly, from the atmospheric turbulence statistical characteristics starting, the structure function of atmospheric turbulence, the model of spectral and the basic features parameters were introduced; followed, from the perspective of detection experiments, the simulative turbulence cell of air convective works, photo detector works and the detect the mathematical model were described; Finally, elaborate the detection system of simulative turbulence cell turbulence characteristics of air convective, and minutely dissected the turbulence uniformity, stability, scintillation power spectrum and the turbulence characteristic parameters which have been detected by Shack-Hartmann.Not only an effective method of detection and reliable experimental data were provided, but also it is of great significance about the study of atmospheric turbulence on the impact of laser transmission.
