Geological survey, prospecting and current situation in Machala Coal Formationare analyzed and comprehended comprehensively on the basis of systematic collectionof pre-existing regional geological survey and coal geological survey, with induction ofproblems and insufficient in the former coal formation geology,generalizing including:(1) Zijiapu coalfield geology map is not standard and involves only first minery smallrange of geology map area; Drawing is also not standard, the geological conditionsaround is not clear, need to be reworked;(2)previous geology exploration range islimited in the first minery,its range is too small;(3)Zijiapu coal-field spans twomap-areas in new scale of1:250000, these two map-areas are investigated by variouswork units, there is no map interlinking, adjacent maps not butt joint, inconsistent nameof rock formations (even the same formation);(4)previous coal geological reportserious lack of study on sedimentary facies and palaeogeography of coal, lack adequateawareness of coal basin type and its evolution so that awareness of coal accumulationlaws is not clear;(5)lack of investigation on the coal-controlling structure and tracking,understanding of controlling nature of coal structure and coal-controlling structuralstyles unclear is unclear, in order that the distribution of coal within the coalfield andthe space extending is unclear (vertical plane);(6)though predecessors worked inMachala coal deposit and Zijiapu coal deposit, because of the above reasons, so far thetrue situation of resource remains unclear; In conclusion, the above-mentionedprovide the necessity of the Master’s thesis.With significant research approach and technical route, Main contents of theresearch includes the following aspects:((1)The content provides a comprehensiveanalysis of coal geological conditions of the coal region;(2)Division of coal-seriesstrata and discussion dcoal-bearing strata of coal age by paleontological fossilassemblage;(3)Distribution of Machala coal formation,petrologicalcharacteristics,The coal characteristics of sedimentary facies;(4)The content dose asystematical research on typical coal mine, Machala coal mine, Zijiapu coal mine;(5)Ancient tectonic framework constrain on characteristics of paleo-geographic distribution and coal distribution;(6)Main control factors of coal, such as rocks, ancientgeography, structure;(7)Coal-controlling structural styles;(8)Papers evaluated on coalproperty, coal types and its distribution characteristics and main applications;(9)Determine the principles and basis of forecast outlining, eventually to estimate theresources.This thesis adopt research ideas and research methods: measured section,singleprofile lithofacies analysis, sequence stratigraphy analysis(vertical) Type of coalbasin'Comparative study of regional(plane)'Rock stratigraphy building'Type ofcoal basin; Coal basin tectonic framework'Early Carboniferous Zijiapu depressionand Machala depression formation in ancient geographical distribution(Coal-accumulating basin evolution); Analysis of control factors of coal'Accused ofcoaltectonicstyle'Restricted distributionofcoal'Forecast forcoal; Inthe processofevolution coal-bearing basin tectonism magma role'Coal metamorphism strength;Coal,coal class laboratory analysis'The determination of kind of and distribution'Coal resources use.With significant technical route, regional geological conditions、coal-bearing formation,coal bed and distribution features are well studied, referring topre-existing geological survey,coal geological survey and other researches, combiningwith the latest Tibet Plateau1:250000scale regional geological survey and relevantcoal geologic dissertation.This paper takes geotectonics evolution ofcoal-accumulating basin、controlling sedimentary basin types and depositional fillingsequence as the main line, and applieslithostratigraphy,biostratigraphy,chronostratigraphy and sequence stratigraphycombining together.Though System Analysis of coal measures sedimentary profilestructure and sequence stratigraphic characters, this paper comprehensively sums upthe tectonic geologic feature,coal sequence stratigraphy,sedimentary facies andsedimentary environment,sedimentary geochemistry and coal petrography. Afterlithostratigraphic framework is built up,the late Triassic structure-lithofaciespaleogeography structure. On the basis of serious research of coal-controlling factor ofMachala coal formation,especially coal-controlling sedimentary environment andcoal-controlling structure model,taking surface exposed or controlled coal bed as thereason, it chiefly discusses the influence of main tectonic activity which induced bylater geological events,to coal bed,and dissects the main coal accumulation in this coalfield,which mainly considers the transforming and destructive actions,the latertectonics to coal measure strata and coal bed. Applying tectonic coal-controlling theory,the minimum coal-bearing prospect prediction area is made,and makes division on thereliable degree of prediction area and potential resources grade,then the valuationapplying volume method in deep Machala Coal formation and circumjacent potentialresources.Early Carboniferous coal Machala (early Carboniferous coal-bearing strata in changdu Prefecture known as Machala of coal), mainly in the West of Lancang River inchangdu Prefecture, Qu Deng in Mangkang from the South West, North West stripalong West of Lancang River is to the North East extending distinctive arc, Leiwuqi,extension of his pumped into Qinghai. Machala Coal formation is located in theQiangtang-Sanjiang tectonic-stratigraphic regions, tectonic environment is part of theBangong Lake-Shuanghu-Nujiang suture zone structure of the northern fringe.Machala Coal formation measures referred to in this article is in Changdu ofQiangtang-Sangjiang area,Qiangtang-Sangjiang area,qiangtang-North toKangxiwa-Muzi tage-Maqin-Mianxian-Lueyang zone,South to the Bangonglake-Nujiang-Changning-Menglian zone.This paper were based on the previousgeological survey reports of Machala Coal formation and the many relation studyresults of structural geology, deposition and lithofacies palaeogeography. By thefeatures of chronostratigraphy and biostratigraphy,and in association with systematicdivision and contrast of lithostratigraphic, stratum of Machala Coal formation wasobjectively divided and compared.Early Carboniferous later period,marine retreat from Southeast to Northwestappears in Sanjiang region, appears complex and sea violations from Northwest toSoutheast, transgression in regressive-alternate deposition, sedimentary Machala of theearly carboniferous coal measures in Tibet. Early carboniferous who Machala pull coalof with seam bit main in lower carboniferous series middle-bottom Machala Fortion, inspatio-temporal visible by Southeast to Northwest, seam layer bit by lower graduallyrose to central and the upper, displayed into coal period poly coal center from Southeast to Northwest migration of features, can mining or local can mining seam belongswith coal segment also has this features, and thickness has waves increased thick offeatures. Machala Coal Formation showing characteristics that on the spatialdistribution from Northwest to Southeast thinning gradually. Northwest along theQinghai–Zaduo2300~3100m thick, to the South of Nan Qu Deng collapse, taken awayuntil the Duoyinaka balk, middle and upper devonian to upper limestone andcoal-bearing strata directly (previously known as Dongfengling Formation) contact.Machala of other coal mines of coal, are the surface outcrop of recourse, the bearingmore reliable.In the paper, according to system understanding of space exhibition of coalmeasures and comprehensive analysis of coal accumulating pattern, combining withinfluence of later structure to the coal measure strata and coal bed, applyingstructure-controlling theory, the minimum coal-bearing prospect prediction area ismade and divided into three:favorable(Ⅰ);secondary favorable(Ⅱ)andunfavorable(Ⅲ); then further refer to forecast reliability degree, the potential resourceis divided into three: forecast reliability(334-1),forecast probable(334-2),forecastconjectural(334-3).When calculating the three-level resources, forecast parameters ofthe reference to national coal resource potential evaluation of uniform technical requirements for implementation of the project,coupled with China’s coalreserves/resources classification scheme divides the Machala coal resources into threeclasses: good, better and poor.Make sure Machala coal formation resources prediction method for originalparameter estimation and forecast on respectively Zijiapu and Machala preliminaryestimate resources in coal mines,the total resource of Zijiapu is415.2319milliontons.,the total resource of Machala coalfield is50.7888million tons.
