Graph theory originated in the early the18th century, with the development of computers and other modern tools, graph theory has been linked with computer networks, structural chemistry, and widely used. As a branch of the combinational problems in Mathematical Competition, graph theory often provides us with a problem-solving point of view. In this paper, we will use the literature analysis, exploring the contact of graph theory with Competitive Mathematics, building the bridge between the research of graph theory and Competitive Mathematics.
