The supplement of mineral sources, especially non-ferrous metals, plays an important role in the modernization of our country. In order to overcome the shortage of national resources reservation, it is better to utilize the superiority of DFIP (Dual Frequency Induced polarization) method in exploring sulfuretted polymetallic ore deposits, combined with the need of overseas mineral investment, it can create a new situation for exploring mineral abroad, also it can make a contribution to the popularization of DFIP machine.Starting from summing up the development and application analysis of IP (Induced Polarization) method, this paper statements the physical foundation and principle of DFIP method as one of FIP (Frequency Induced polarization) methods, also the unique advantage of DFIP machine in mineral exploration, and analyzes the equivalence of TDIP and FIP method dialectically. There is nearly no geological information about this area with bad grounded conditions and40℃maximum temperature in the day. Under this bad conditions, carry out a100m×20m survey grid geological exploration, and obtain the first-hand geological information about this area. It proves DFIP machine can adapt well to the bad conditions in this area.In the later data processing work, with apparent IP ratio applied to the appraisal of IP anomalies, determine several ore-related anomalies by extracting secondary information of the sectional data, then carry out symmetrical sounding work for them, it proves satisfactory results.
