In the paper，various methods of Carboniferous Kalagang Formation in Malang Sag，such as the core observation，the identification and analysis of ordinary thin slice and cast thinslice， and combined with well logging data， seismic， SEM， geochemical elementcharacteristics，to identify the lithology，lithofacies，reservoir space type. According to theresults of analysis to determine the region of the diagenesis of the type，the diageneticsequence and stage，the diagenetic environment，using the results of research to analysis thediagenesis area reservoir space type evolution and the influence of volcanic rock reservoirs.There are two types of volcanic rock in study area，they are lava and pyroclastic rocks.The main are basalt、basaltic andesite、andesite in the lava，but in the pyroclastic rocks，mainis basaltic rock，followed by andesitic rock in the rock cutting. The volcanic facies in thestudy area can be divided into erption facies、overflow facies and volcanic sedimentaryfacies，the overflow facies common distribution，the volcanic rock can be divided into onevolcanic cycle and four volcanic stages. the reservoir space type analysis can be found12kinds of pore types and10crack types，the main are devitrification micro hole、residue hole、solution hole、solution fracture、structure fracture. Beause volcanic eruptions on territorypreservation in the Kalagang Formation，the strong reformation of reservoir space arediagenesis of tectonic、dissolution、weathering，cementation、packing action、devitrificationalso have different diagenetic stage in very main effect. If the reservoir formation to thecontribution of the Angle，packing action is one of the major destructive diagenesis type；thegood diagenesis type are dissolution、volatilization weathering、metasomasis.
