In recent years, with the low resistivity reservoir has developed the major target of oil field development in China, the Identification of low resistivity reservoir become increasingly important. The causes of low resistivity reservoir are very complicated, such as, the different regional background, log response unnoticeable, vertical resolution ability of well logging information decrease. Conventional logging interpretation often contains mistakes, extra-low permeability reservoirs with the particular genetic environment become more difficult to identify, to develop the identification of low resistivity reservoir in extra-low permeability block become particularly important.This paper is concerned about the actual conditions of low resistivity reservoir, brings into close association with geological background of Zhidan district, analyzes the formation mechanism of low resistivity reservoir, studies the sand reservoir characteristics with extra-low permeability and low resistivity reservoir, to seek change regularity correspond with Reservoir characteristics, to reveal formation mechanism of low resistivity reservoir. We require the proof of qualitative evaluation low resistivity pay zones, bring some new thoughts and methods to the analysis the identification of low resistivity reservoir, that is factor invasion. The feasibility of this method was further confirmed through the experiments in Zhidan district, and has bring greatly improvement in the Identification accuracy of low resistivity reservoir.
