High resolution electrical logging tool performance analysis and testing techniques is studed in this paper, high-resolution electrical logging tool is high-resolution induction logging too. High-resolution induction logging tool is a new developing logging tool in the country, which is suitable for chinese geological structure and characteristics, and has great significance to improve oil exploration level and supply enough energy.With the whole structure of high-resolution induction logging tool, the tool includes the inducing system, spherical focusing system and the software and hardware of digital signal processing system. The three systems are analysized and researched. The many problems had been discussed, which includes instrument’s calibration method, calibration environment and technology specifications, and the instrument calibration preliminary has been completed in the paper. Through in-depth research, starting from the theoretical study and experimental analysis, so many problems have been solved in the process of system joint commissioning, for example, the direct coupled signal is too large, differential mode gain in the differential amplify circuit can’t meet the design requirements, the output signals is in a different phase, there are faults in DSP hardware, and frequency of data acquisition is unreasonable in inducing signals and etc. Firstly, aimed at the questions of large directed coupled signals, it is studied that the shielded coil turns and coil distance have been designed reasonably basing on the aspects of theory and experiment commissioning. The type of coil and winding way of coil are determined based on the experiments, reasons of the unstable signals and the influence of electromagnetic interference are analysized by using antenna theory and electromagnetic compatibility, then the experiment results in the paper is corrective and successful. Secondly, the parameters of symmetric device is adjusted in the differential amplify circuit according to symmetry properties of differential amplify circuit, the problems of differential mode magnification and same phase have been solved. Finally, the acquisition frequency of inducing signals had been debugged, and the performances of whole instrument is greatly improved.
