Descartes is the founder of the modern western philosophy, is also the pioneers of the modern materialism. Put forward a claim "doubt and skepticism"、and "I think, therefore I am", the development of modern mathematics also made an important contribution, for founded the geometric coordinate system and is considered to be the father of analytic geometry. He published the first unified celestial and earth physics proposed the dualism of mind-body. There is much controversy about the importance of Descartes in the history of science. Although Descartes’ scientific contributions of the comb is less than the contemporaries of Galileo and Newton, But also in the history of philosophy, Descartes recognized not as the era of Bacon and later Kant. But Descartes’ contribution to science and his philosophy is the subject of any researcher cannot avoid.In this article, from Descartes’s birth background, educational experience and academic writings published clues to the life of Descartes. Let’s learn from the exploration of science what he realized that the philosophy of the "true meaning"; from the philosophy of thinking and skepticism, starting from the point of view of rationalism to re-solve some problems in the science. Although some problems has not withstood the history and science demonstration, as the descendants of reach and the object of criticism, but it is undeniable that the Cartesian view of science and philosophy deeply influenced later generations.Descartes’philosophy of Science is mainly reflected from specific science, in particular, extracted from his own scientific practice philosophy, including his Mathematical theory and immutability of God、 Physics and Mechanical theory、Biology and Mind-Body dualism.
