It is the first time we put forward the concept of metamorphic rock interior reservoirs,and set up the theory of hydrocarbon accumulation inside metamorphic rock by thecombination of field exploration with indoor simulation and geological theory innovationwith engineering technology research and development, analyzing metamorphic rockreservoir in Liaohe Depression,: that is, Metamorphic rocks interior formation is composed byvariety of rocks, has the layer or like layer texture; Under the same tectonic stress field,different types of rock constructs the various combination of fractures reservoir and non-reservoir that has strongly heterogeneity because of the ability of anti-compressive andanti-shear; unconformity, multi-fault and the system of fracture constitute the hydrocarbonpathway system; The dominant aspect of source rock and reservoir double factors constituteseffective migration and accumulation unit, which forms many independent “new born-oldreservoir”. The theory has three innovative points: first of all, it breaks the view that themetamorphic rock was a block rock and confirms that reservoir and non-reservoir developseach other inside metamorphic rock; secondly, it breaks through the standpoint that the rockof more dark mineral content couldn’t become a reservoir, and also establishes the "advantagelithology" sequences and of the oil and gas differences accumulation mode under its control;the third, it breaks through the opinion of “controlling oil by High spot, unified oil-waterinterface, accumulation by weathering”, found the new accumulation mode of the integrationof weathering and interior metamorphic rock. Oil and gas exploration reached twobreakthroughs in metamorphic rocks of Liaohe Depression: the first,100million tons ofXinglongtai oil field was found, which is the highest level in oil range and reserve scale in theword, with an average annual proved reserves of22.8million tons, which is equivalent to150times of the total of32years ago; secondly, it is basically achieved the whole oil ofmetamorphic basement in Damintun Sag, which has the total new proven reserves of150.72million tons, controlled reserves of83.43million tons, prognostic reserves of105.68milliontons, the total scale reserves of340million tons and increasing production1.728million tonsof crude oil.
