In recent years, the coherent manipulation of quantum system has attracted considerable attention. Single atom which is cooled and trapped by laser cooling technique is an ideal quantum system. The triggered single photon source based on single atom trapped in optical dipole trap is important resource for quantum cryptography and quantum lineal calculation, and it is of substantial significance for the quantum repeater based on the entanglement of photon and atom, quantum interface between the transmission and storage of quantum information. The ns pulse laser system is one of the key steps to realize triggered single-photon source.I have constructed an ns pulse laser system through directly modulated the intensity of the distributed feedback diode laser by intensity modulator, and use feedback loop to bias the modulator at zero transmission. The main works shown in the thesis are follows:1). I briefly introduced the background of the experiment and theory of Rabi oscillation, focusing on its application in the triggered single-photon source;2). The pulse laser with5ns pulse width and10(?)MHz repetition rate is obtained by using wave-guide-type intensity modulator and fast square-wave pulse generator;3). Introduced the concept of the second order degree of coherence, and measured the second order degree of coherence of continuous and pulse coherent laser field;4). Calculated the light shift of each Zeeman level of Cs D2and Rb D2line, the magic-wavelength monochromatic and dichromatic optical dipole trap have been analyzed. Also a dichromatic magic-wavelength ODT laser system for87Rb atoms is proposed and experimentally realized by employing the quasi-phase-matched frequency doubling technique with telecom laser and fiber amplifier. Finally, the actual detuning of Cs D2line in1064nm optical dipole trap is calculated.
