The nonlinear phenomenon is frequently encountered in the practical control systems,The existence of nonlinear, to accurate mathematics models for the object systems become more complicated, it makes the stability analysis much more complicated.On the other hand, with the progress of society and development of science and technology, all fields on the requirements of automatic control system in the control accuracy, response speed and system stability are getting higher and higher. However, for a series of reasons of the nonlinear controlled object, the strong coupling of multiple parameters and random interference, it is usually difficult to accurate mathematics models for the controlled object and to carry out the automatic control. Hence, it is necessary and significant to study about adaptive fuzzy control for uncertain nonlinear systems. In the past twenty years, many people have paid attention on the adaptive fuzzy controller for uncertain nonlinear systems and achieved great results.In this paper, the application of adaptive fuzzy control approach with supervisory control performance for the uncertain nonlinear systems is presented. Fuzzy control theory, fuzzy basic idea and the design of adaptive fuzzy controller is discussed at first.In this paper, adaptive fuzzy supervisory control is used to solve complied control problem of uncertain nonlinear systems.Fuzzy logic, which is based on operating experience and knowledge, simulates logic thinking of human. Hence, it applies to solve the problem of control of nonlinear systems with uncertainty. The main works are as following:Firstly, the basic idea of fuzzy control theory and the adaptive fuzzy control are introduced. We briefly review recent developments and studies of adaptive fuzzy control and the main work in this dissertation is given.Secondly, A indirect adaptive fuzzy control approach with supervisory control performance for a class of uncertain MIMO nonlinear systems is proposed. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, it is proved that this approach is effective.Finally, By using the indirect adaptive fuzzy control approach with supervisory control performance, the adaptive controllers are proposed for a class of uncertain MIMO nonlinear systems under the mathematic condition that the gain matrices need not to be nonsingular. The proposed adaptive controllers can ensure not only the all signals of closed-loop systems are bounded but also the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin.
