The environment in land is more complex than water. There are two main reasons, one is the dry and changeable environment, another is the various kinds of soil. So, the terrestrial plants will be constantly influenced by the environment signals. Almost all the terrestrial plants are sessile, they can not move quickly when they face the different surrounding conditions. During the long time of evolution, they formed some unique mechanisms including tropism. Lots of people are studying the gravitropism which is a very important mechanism to plant. It allows plants to utilize water and nutrition. When the environment changes, some factors of the gravitropism also changes to ensure the plants adapting to the new environment. Recent research indicates that a lot of signal pathways involve in the gravitropism. In this study, we chose tesl as research material to explore the effect of cytokinin and environmental stress on tesl root phenotype. The results prove that:1.Cytokinin can affect the root tropism of tesl.2.Under the stress of salt and mannitol, the seed germination of tesl is later than WT.3. Salt can affect the root tropism of tesl which caused by the ion stress.4. Raise the temperature (to27℃) can not affect the crosstalking between cytokinin(or salt) and the root tropism of tesl, and tesl can tolerate better than WT in the salt stress of27℃.
