With the development of IT(Information Technology), the safety of human and propertybecomes very important and more and more places need to be monitored. On some specialoccasions, the video information, which is of high importance, need to be encrypted during thetransmission. There are so many encryption methods that it is difficult for us to choose the suitableone. As to the Chaos systems have some born similarity with the cipher code, so chaotic encryptionbecomes very popular in the near future. As we know the video has very large information with it,so the dealing with it demands high speed. Because of the simple computation of the ChaoticEncryption, it has very high encryption speed. So the Chaotic Cipher Code can meet the demands ofvideo encryption and it will be more and more popular in the future. A Chaotic Encryption isproposed in this paper, and in order to improve the efficiency of video monitor, one motiondetection method is proposed in this paper too. The principal working in this paper are as below:(1).Some modification is done on Logistic Map, and some analysis is done to prove thecharacters of the Chaos System. The result of these experiments shows that it is faster than theLogistic Map and has larger cipher code space. For the sake of the better performance of themodified chaotic system, it is used to generate the encryption keys instead of Logistic Map.(2).Four modified chaotic systems, which have different parameters, are used to create theencryption keys. One encrypting scheme is designed and implemented based on these four systems.And so as to increase the privacy of the video monitor, the cipher code is designed to changes onetime for every frame in the video. In the end, some test experiments are done to express theperformance of the encryption scheme.(3).For the sake of the videos are of large information content, they should be compressedbefore transmission. To meet the needs of this system, one transmission protocol is designed basedon UDP. Because of the limited capability of ARM9 CPU, one simple compress scheme is designedand implemented too. Some analysis is done to show the performance of this scheme.(4).The video monitor system should be able to deal with some unusual situation immediately,so the motion detection should be done with the real-time video. Because the movement detection isbadly influenced by lighting, the author put forward an algorithm to solve this problem and it isproved to be effective. Then an improved background subtraction algorithm is proposed. It is basedon three histograms of RGB and code-book construction. And the experiments done with it provethat it has good performance.(5).An integrated chaotic encryption video monitor transmission system on LAN (local area network) is designed and implemented by uniting the Chaotic Cipher Code, designed encryptionmethod, and transmission technology on LAN and movement detection. The Video Capture is basedon ARM9, and the video displaying is based on usual PC (personal computer). All the programs areimplemented with C programming language.
