In recent years, geological disasters occur frequently, since flood season in2010, a widerange of heavy rainfall in most parts of China caused local mountain torrent disaster in thesmall river basins, especially the ZhouQu large torrential debris flows, resulting in heavycasualties and loss of property, resources and ecological environmental problems is becomingincreasingly severe and prominent. Comprehensive management of the ecological environmentbecomes the country’s major ecological initiatives.Eco-environmental assessment as the base of comprehensive control of ecologicalenvironment is imperative, and how to get the effective and scientific assessment of theresource and environment is currently one of the pressing issues. In this article, with the student area of Nanchang Municipal districts, LANDSET ETM+satellite images as the main source of information, professional remote sensing processingsoftware ENVI and Geographic Information System software ARCGIS platform for processingand analysis tools for the main processing, summary of the ecological environment based onRS and GIS assessment methods and processes, and complete the data extraction, storage, theresults of map production. Moreover, the authors on the basis of evaluation of the ecological environment ofknowledge through their own awareness and understanding of remote sensing knowledge, according to the actual situation may be realized through a variety of methods in the study areawere analyzed, in order to achieve the best the results of the analysis, Through the processingof remote sensing images, we got a three-year land use classification of2000,2005,2010,create land classification achievements database; changes of the classification results derivedfrom depth of analysis on the basis of the scope of changes, reasons for, and made a number ofrecommendations. And then extracted out of the four environments on the basis of the assessment factor, a model operation, the environmental assessment results.
