We will take the logging model of our school as an example which is still in building, using MCNP4C to simulate the different situations of the count rate of the gamma rays onthe point probe instrument, which come from uranium uranium group, uranium radiumgroup, thorium department and potassium-40nuclide when they are at different distancesfrom the10cm unit layer. With these figures,we can draw a standard spectrum. At the sametime,we simulate it through the different conditions as well. And use standard spectral toline out the different gamma counting rate by the radioactive superposition principle andfield source swap principle. Then we can compare and analyze the superposition result andthe simulate result, and conclude that:1)With the monte carlo method, we can effectively avoid the entrenched interferencefactors in the experiment.2)The simulation results of MCNP program is a kind of normalized counts ofcorresponding particles values, so we should change the simulation results into the realgamma rate of each point, and draw the standard spectrum lines with these counting ofuranium group, radium group, thorium group and potassium-40. Then we can get thespecific spectral lines of different kinds of ledges with the above standard spectrum lines.3) Respectively simulate the logging model at the situations of balancedUranium-radium, unbalanced Uranium-radium, saturated ledges as well as unsaturatedledges. Then compare the simulated figures with the superposition figures, and concludethat these two spectrum lines are almost the same. It means the unit stacked-up layerstheory is feasible. We can get all the figures in the model with the standard spectrum lines, this will save us a lot of time and benefit for the research of the logging model.
