Recent years, with the speed of the pace of development of productive forces,greatlyenriched the social product,the retail industry develop rapidly,and the scale expanding. Industryconcentration is rising. Retailers' negotiating capacity has continued to improve. Retailers' buyerpower is increasing now.In this case, retailers are tend to use their dominant position to damage the interests ofsuppliers, thus triggering a series of conflicts between retailers and suppliers, which haveseriously affected the implementation of the Harmonious Society. So, it is very necessary to do ain-depth study on the recent manufacturer-retailer relationship in our country, in order to provide acorrect thinking and a best way to solve this issue.First, this paper describes the status of retailer buyer power,both summarized their specificmanifestations, in-depth analysis of the Current Situation of economic efficiency and the level ofbenefits. Second, in the analysis of reasons for formation of Conflict between retailers andsuppliers under retail buyer power, on the one hand analysis the cause of retail buyer power, onthe other hand, through the interpretation of the game between retailers and suppliers, analysis thesource of antagonistic cooperation between them. Again, make recommendations on how toestablish harmonious relationship between retailer and supplier, explore methods to solve theconflict of retailers and suppliers. Finally, learn from P&G-Wal-Mart's "collaborativecommerce mode of cooperation", which has a certain reference significance to promote thehealthy development of China's retail industry.This article has some innovation:1. Redefinition the cooperation, especially in describing theclassification of cooperation, the cooperation between retailers and suppliers are not cooperationand non-cooperation, but antagonistic and non-confrontational cooperation.2. Introduced theGame Theory to analysis of the causes of conflict, and discrimination analysis the game underlong-term cooperation or in the short-term co-operation has different result.This paper still have some deficiency:1.it still need do more deep theoretical research todefinition of reasonal and not reasonal slotting allowance;22.Due to the existence ofunreasonable,buyer power, which is still the object of legal regulation, retailer can not publish thecase of slotting allowance and tie up the money, so the relevant data are difficult to got, and this may weaken relevant demonstrate in some extent.
