So far,the research on FDI is usually considered by four aspects,such as the cost factors, marketfactors, institutionnal factors, as well as the exchange rates. However, in view of the FDI in thestudy,the scholars to focus more on the first three terms and the exchange rate factor is oftenoverlooked. Global foreign direct investment slowed the appreciation of the RMB and facecontinued pressure to appreciate the situation.The study changes in the exchange rate of FDI hasbecome a topic which has great practical significance.Inquiry in the past,mostly working on FDI inflows at an angle,and most of the studies are formthe perspective of the investment target country.With the world econmy's development formtraditional market to opening market and the FDI had a long time evolution,the scale,structure anddestination of foreign direct investment has profoundly effect on one country'scompetitiveness,banlance of payment and structure.Therefore,we should attract FDI flowing intoour country continuely,at the same time, actively engage in overseas investment,inorder to form acomplete reflow of China's economic system.In addition,the scale and level of a country's foreigndirect investment has increasingly become a sign to measure the internationnalcompetitiveness,and China's economic development level and the opening stage also requires usto actively engage in foreign direct investment.This paper elaborated on the changes in the courseof RMB exchange rate and the course of development of China's foreign direct investment andthe current situation.Through the empirical analysis,we get the relationship between exchangerate and foreign direct investment.We made some targeted recommendtions,in order to exlporehow to promote Chian's foreign direct investment.
