Hui Folk Customs Tourism Resources Development And Protection

Folk custom tourism has attracted more and more tourists since 1980's, while it has encountered many realistic problems in its development, such as the damage to cultural environment, the stage of folk custom and uneven distribution of interests. Chosen Najiahu Village Yongning County Yinchuan City Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region as a case study, the paper synthesizes different domestic developing models of folk custom tourism to develop Najiahu Village under protection from the view of Hui ethnic folk custom resources. The paper also suggests different managing methods should taken to develop Hui ethnic folk custom tourism as well as to promote its competing ability in Ningxia.There are five parts in the paper altogether:Part One is an introduction. It points out the significance of developing Hui ethnic folk custom tourism in Ningxia under the basis of the research on related domestic and abroad papers; Part Two analyses the relationship between ethnic tourism, folk tourism, experiencing tourism and eco tourism, providing a theory basis for the development of Najiahu Village; Part Three had a deep discussion about the development and protection of Hui ethnic folk tourism resources based on three case studies; Part Four is the focus of the paper. Using related theories and the three developing models provided by the scholars, it analyses Najiahu Village and China Ethnic Cultural Garden realistically; Part Five is the conclusion, looking ahead the future study finally.
