Research On Our Country's Financial Safety Under The Background Of Financial Globalization

Finance, as the core of economic activities, has made great contributions to the economic development and has already gradually involved in lots of other economic sectors. With financial globalization rising, financial crises can spread to the global finance markets now other than being confined to one single economy. Under such situations, financial safety becomes the key point of maintaining our country's economic safety.Based on previous literatures, this paper analyzes the relation between financial globalization and financial safety through normative analysis. It also analyzes the challenges China's finance market facing and gives out corresponding suggestions. Comparative analysis and empirical analysis are applied here by comparing China's finance situation with that of Viet Nam and the United States in order to find countermeasures against financial crises.This paper is composed of five parts. Part one explains the notions of financial safety and financial globalization and analyzes the relation between them. Part two does empirical studies of Viet Nam and the United States. By analyzing the backgrounds and causes of their financial crises, comparative analysis is made to China's finance market. Part three deeply analyzes and states China's finance market situation. Part four analyzes the new problems and challenges China's finance market facing under the background of finance globalization. The last part puts forwards some suggestions to safeguarding finance safety based on China's own economic and financial situations.
