Since the 20th century,along with the increasing and expanding development of economic globalization and fierce competition between the enterprise, modern logistics has become the focus of attention. In the whole logistics activities, the inventory cost occupies the most logistics cost. Every link of the enterprise operation exists inventory, such as the purchasing of materials, transportation, product manufacturing, distribution ,and so on. So that the inventory management has become the a key problem by scholars. For engineering machinery manufacturing, warehousing inventory is also crucial and important for the development of enterprises, which affects the capital turnover rate and efficiency of the enterprise directly. Focus on the production and inventory management present situation in M company crane factory,this paper proposed a important problem which the key parts lack of safety stock in the inventory management and do a design aiming at this problem. As a result of the most models, we select the key model in the course of the study by ABC classification method. Then in view of the actual situation, do a calculation apply the theory model. It relates to sales forecasting in the calculation process. this paper uses two kinds of method to calculate including exponential smoothing method and BP neural network, which ensures the design of key parts of the safety stock is close to the actual. The safety design is a practical application for the related theory, which has certain guiding significance for the practice of the inventory management. |
