"West China Financial Market Strategic Plan " was. introduced by Chengdu in 2010, in which the financial professional is the core resource and the most important competitive advantage. To meet the demand for financial professional of Western financial center, this paper investigates and predicts the trend of financial professional in the next six years (to 2015).This paper first analyzes the theory of demand forecast for financial professional, summarizes commonly used qualitative and quantitative forecasting methods, such as exponential smoothing forecasting model, influencing factors regression analysis model, and compares their advantages and disadvantages. Then, based on the statistical data of Chengdu from 2002 to 2009, including the number of financial industry practitioners, financial value added, GDP, fixed assets investment scale, this paper uses time series method and influencing factors method to predict the financial professional demand, using the software of MINITAB, SPSS and Excel. In the process of prediction, the paper combines the methods of exponential smoothing forecasting model, trend forecasting model and regression analysis model. The exponential smoothing model and forecasting models are time series forecasting methods, which are based on the principle of continuity. The regression analysis model is influencing factors methods, which is based on the principles of relevance and goal-oriented. The regression analysis model not only considers the important factors related to financial professional, but also combines the key objectives of western financial center. Due to the limitation of research resources and time, this paper focuses mainly on the number of financial professional. In addition, based on the per financial value added indicators, this paper briefly discusses the quality and structure of financial professional. This paper explores the predictions of financial professional in Chengdu, by the application of mathematical models. This paper will provide decision-making basis and theoretical reference to the construction of western financial center. |
