The problem of lot-sizing is one of the most significant subjects in the realm of enterprise production and business management. The rational organization of production circulation activities applied by the lot-sizing optimal model is one of the necessary conditions for reducing production costs and raising profit in corporation. On one hand, With the development of the globalization of market competition, logistics has occupied a more and more extensive position in the operational processes and the transportation costs has played an increasingly predominant ratio in the total costs. On the other hand, the scientifically decision of circulation channel and assignation of products lot-sizing could effectively reduce the total costs. So the relative solution methods considering transportation cost, has been of theoretical significance and practical value. This paper focuses on the theory and methodology research of the lot-sizing from manufacturer to RDC and the lot-sizing from RDC to distributor in the 3-stage production-distribution system. The contents of this paper are as below:First of all, based on the theory and literature of 3-stage production-distribution system and the problem of lot-sizing, this paper emphasis on the scholars'research of lot-sizing problem. Meanwhile this paper cites some models, such as Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Dynamic Lot-Sizing Problem (DLSP) models and the solution of DLSP in a general way.Secondly, this paper constructs the model of 3-stage production-distribution system based on transportation cost and the lot-sizing in and out RDC warehouse. Then we can optimize the model by greatest common divisor (GCD) theory, to enable the cost model with (Tin,Tout) transform to the model with(p,q), and the solution result indicate that we can use stationary lot-sizing policy and multiple policy.Thirdly, we can apply the standard of performance contrast I0 to analysis the stationary lot-sizing policy and multiple lot-sizing policy, and find which one is adaptable in some situation. The outcome shows that the stationary lot-sizing policy is true to optimal lot-sizing ratio r∈(1,2), when r in other range, the choice should be multiple lot-sizing policy. In the end, this paper uses the case of 3-stage production-distribution system's supply chain in Northeastern Loyal sales company of PetroChina Co's refined oil data, to carry on the concrete numerical analysis, the result indicated that the model we give, can reduce physical distribution cost to a great extent in this kind of enterprise, further more, this paper can provide the system rational lot-sizing in and out the RDC warehouse effectively.
