Research On Development Of Tour Insurance Broker In China

The dilemmas of travel insurance market and the bad effect of policy implementation always obsess the whole industry. Based on the Demonstration Projects of Travel Agency's Liability Insurance in 2010, the system of travel insurance broker, a new concept, was constructed to solve the existing problems from the perspective of demand-side.Combining economics with the science of law, following the logic of "raise-analyze-solve-prove", the thesis was conducted by the methods of empirical research, logical reasoning, in-depth interviews and comparative research. Based on related theory and literature review, necessity research and validity conditions analysis about introduction of travel insurance broker was carried out by information asymmetry theory and transaction cost theory. At last, the development strategy of travel insurance brokers was put forward and travel insurance broker system was constructed under signaling game model and principal-agent theory framework. Started by agency's liability insurance, the system of travel insurance brokers have two trends of development:firstly, expand it to other types of insurance, such as public liability insurance, tourist automobile carrier insurance, etc. secondly, reduce market admittance threshold in time, making market subjects more diverse.
