The development of global economic integration and transnational management of universality caused the increasingly fierce market competition. In such environment, if enterprises are to remain invincible in the fierce competition, supply chain management becomes an important means to improve their competitiveness. Based on the analysis of SGS company's supply chain management activities, the thesis identifies the problems and offer proposals. By enhancing their service capabilities, and establish good relationship between customers, it wins more market share, reduces inventory risk, keeps lower inventory levels, reduces the total supply chain costs and improves the efficiency.This paper describes the background of supply chain management, the purpose and significance of the study. It also presents the methods and ideas using to research supply chain management of SGS, and describes the status of the semiconductor industry. Then, this article analyzes the SGS Company's supply chain management problems and the reasons are: lack of customer service capability; uncoordinated supply chain operations; order responding more slowly; keeping high inventories and not optimization of logistics and distribution. To solve above problems, based on the supply chain management and customer support know-how, it is proposed that SGS company should rebuild the supply chain organization structure, optimize the supply chain management process, and find out the bottle neck of supplying, respond to the organizational structure, ongoing assessment of supply chain processes, to identify the key bottlenecks affecting company's efficiency improvement. At the meantime, company should develop a customer-centric management philosophy, employees of various functional departments to strengthen training and education, so that employees could change their concepts, to focus on the needs of our customers, provide excellent service, and improve the order responding turn around time, inventory control, logistics and other issues related. At the same time, the company should conduct performance evaluation of supply chain activities to discover the above company's supply chain management deficiencies and loopholes, and comprehensively improve customer satisfaction, gain customers' loyalty.
