The main mode of international logistics is container transportation, and management for container terminal is demanded to a higher level along with bigger size and higher speed of container vessels. The gap of throughput emerges in considerable container terminals of our country due to low efficiency, so simply expanding of container terminals will occupy a great deal of ground and capital. In the condition of existing resources, the administration of container terminal must improve the management level and adequately enhance utilizing rate of resources to rapidly respond the requirement of container logistics development. Enhancing operation efficiency is the effective way for container terminal yard to improve service quality and strengthen competitive capacity to adapt development requirements of modern logistics, port and navigation.Management of yard equipments resource is a key factor of yard management, so this thesis is mostly researching two main equipments of gantry crane and container truck in yard, in order to enhance economics of operation and efficiency of action. Firstly, combined the fact of container terminal, presenting appraising guideline of management level for port yard, including through capacity of yard system, time modulus of equipment operation,? rate of container transposition, valid journey coefficient of equipment, average stay period of container and average utilizing rate of yard; and presenting research direction of management for yard resource in container terminal. Secondly, establishing a target function model concerning operation sequence of gantry crane. Through analysis, the conclusion could be drawn that this model can decrease holistic operation time of gantry crane, and correspondingly increase operation efficiency of quay crane , to reduce berth time for vessels. Last, the research of dynamic dispatch system for container truck based on circumstance of wireless network indicates that this dynamic dispatch strategy is reasonable and effective, through sequent running and the data analysis of emulational model.
