Research In Competitiveness Evaluation Of Software Services Enterprises Of China

With the development of global professional and industrial of information, information services industry appears and grows quickly. Now, based on electronic information systems and networks, it has developed into modern information service industry mainly about system integration, database, software services, network services and information consulting industry. Although China's software service industry has achieved some effects, there are still a large of gaps compared with developed countries, because this industry in China started late, relatively backward technology, lack of core technology and so on, on one hand, world market share is smaller; on the other hand there is a big gap in independent research, development capabilities and technological innovation. Faced to the huge gap and intense competitive pressure, how to enhance the core competitiveness of software services enterprises has became an important research topic, with important theoretical and practical significance. This thesis mainly researches on competitive power of China's software enterprise by qualitative and quantitative analysis, from two levels of international and domestic markets.The main contents of the study as follows:First, this thesis introduces the related theory of competitiveness of enterprises, and mainly defines the content of the competitiveness of enterprises, affecting factors and evaluation, laying a theoretical foundation for establishing a competitiveness evaluation system of software enterprise.Secondly, on the basis of theoretical analysis above, the thesis establishes a competitiveness evaluation system of software enterprise, combined with characteristics of China's information industry, the external environment and the main effect factors on software enterprises. From the explicit and implicit indicators, the evaluation system includes the level of operating efficiency conditions, development capabilities, enterprise resource levels, operational capacity, solvency and technological innovation capacity and so on summing to 19 indicators in seven areas of the software services industry competitiveness evaluation system. The right of each parameter is calculated by AHP model and the evaluation model is build with comprehensive evaluation index method. By this model, the thesis makes competitiveness ordering of nine listed software companies and conduct empirical research of the competitive power. The research finds that there are four indexes making greater impact on the competitiveness of enterprises, including firm size, operational capacity, capacity development and technology innovation. From the indicator data, we find there are some differences in competitiveness between enterprises of China's listed software enterprises, while the overall point of view, the development capacity of software enterprises is well, with a more adequate development potential.Finally, the thesis summarizes the theory and practice, and put forward five corresponding suggestions for software enterprises in China in order to improve their competitiveness. The first one is government should intensify support for the software industry providing a good external environment; the second is to expand the scale of enterprises, the third is to find a comparative advantage, making reasonable position to build the core competitiveness of enterprises; the next is to increase the input of science and technology, establishing the dominant position of enterprises and improving the capability of independent innovation; the last, to improve the financial management system, receivables and improve capital utilization.
