The generations born in 1980s have great interesting in recalling past and it makes an immense impact on their costume consumption culture. The paper analyzes the causes and representations that the generations love recalling past so much. The society change, the economy alteration, the variation of population relationship, the self-awareness and self-identity are the main reasons. Their childhood mixed with games, their recall coupled with recreation and their post-modernism spirits are the primary representations.On the base above, the paper discuss such influence on their costume consumption culture nowadays. They are the temporal and romantic culture feature, the perception distinction which the recall is the creation, the consumption mentality of their chasing self-identity, the consumption behavior of seeking brands and characters completely. Finally, the paper puts forward the business perspective of the costume recalling past in the generations born in 1980s and the related proposals on its brand marketing. There is a deep gap between the huge market and its developing in fact. We should make the subdivision market towards the roads of brand and industry, exploit the past elements of the generations born in 1980s fully, get the aid of national policies on the creation industry, bring into the mixed marketing methods(experience, recalling and IMC) and turn the self-conscious behavior into the spontaneous behavior. The factors above are very vital to boost the recalling past industry of the generations born in 1980s.
