Xinjiang Production And Construction Corps, Organic Agriculture Development Strategy

The environmental and ecological problems caused by conventional farming has aroused more and more attention since 70's of 20th Century, at the same time, people has been driven to seek a new safe and sustainable agricultural production model to replace the conventional farming. In this background, organic agriculture appeared. Xinjiang Production and Construction Group (XCPP) has persisted in developing its agriculture and gradually became one of the most developed areas in modern agriculture since its set up. But the it located in northwest borderland of China, the climate of there is drought and the environment is complicated, the conventional farming cannot lead it to realize sustainable development of agriculture. Thus, the study of agricultural development strategy in XCPP based on its facts is an important path to solve the contradicts between the agricultural development and environment, and also have great influence to its economic development and social stability.Guided by the theory of sustainable development, ecological economy and circular economy, this paper using positive analysis and normative analysis methods to construct a strategic system for the development of XCPP's organic agriculture. PartⅢ:Present conditions and measures of the organic agriculture in the world and the inspiration to XCPP. PartⅣ:The SWOT analysis of XCPP. It mainly analyzes the interior and exterior conditions of the XCPP, which is the basement of the strategic analysis to XCPP's organic agriculture development. PARTⅤ:The study of the strategic system analysis to XCPP's organic agriculture development. PartⅥ:The conclusions and prospects of this paper. It mainly concludes the important views of this paper, and also point out the directions to further study.
