In recent years, India's service sectors with a unique model have gained a great success in the global trade. India and China both are developing countries with the relatively similar conditions, but India is well developed in services, and has the comparative advantage in the word. But our country in the world trade of services is not dominant.So we need to learn the experience of advanced development, and promote the development of our service sectors and service trade. India is undoubtedly one of the best models because of the most similar national conditions.Firstly, this article expounded some related concepts and theories of the international competitiveness of service trade, then analysis the total India's trade and structure, then analysis the competitiveness of trade in services from the international market share, the RCA index and the TC index, as well as India's service trade factors. And then, a successful example of trade in services-IT services outsourcing as an example to analysis its successful experience. Finally, proposed some suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of China's service trade based on the successful experience of India's trade in services.The innovation of the article is:first, selected six major factors that can be quantified as the explanatory variables on the impact of India's service exports, and reached the conclusion that the rank is service trade openness, per capita GDP, human capital; Secondly, selected IT outsourcing as the major example , and using the trade competitiveness index (TC) and the revealed comparative advantage index (RCA) to analysis the international competitiveness;the third,basing on the successful experience of India's service trade as well as its advantages, proposed that China should focus on the investment in human capital and the government's policies.
