In this paper, the cost of the transformer current situation and development requirements, the life cycle cost (LCC) theory is introduced into the calculation of the cost of the transformer, with a total cost of ownership, operation, maintenance, power loss cost, scrap cost and integration, building life cycle cost of the transformer model, and optimize the operation and maintenance of calculation of the cost,so it is closer to the actual results.Paper to do the following:(1) combined with the cost characteristics of each stage transformer, using whole life cycle cost concepts and methods of analysis of the transformer LCC cost component of the contents and characteristics, to determine the cost of changing transformer LCC estimation model, and proposed number of years based on running, LCC inflation correction method, and introduces the calculation of the cost of the transformer life cycle of some estimation methods.(2) to the transformer load was the best entry point, in order to minimize the cost of transformer operation, the transformer should run in the economic load range. Different from the previous calculation method, this rate in calculating the optimal load, the introduction of the capacity of the transformer loss is different in different lines as a reference, so that the transformer has been optimized operating costs.(3) in the transformer maintenance costs, repair the transformer when considering age reduction factor and failure rate increase factor, the establishment of a preventive maintenance before and after the failure rate of recurrence relations, and Weibull distribution of failure probability distribution for an example , were calculated.(4) According to the multi-level construction and operation of the relevant network parameters through optimization calculations, based on the principle of minimum operating costs obtained the best overall power supply radius of the economy and the capacity and optimal capacity of the transformer.(5) Application LCC analysis method, select the 20MVA and 31.5MVA transformer calculation, analysis, comparison, evaluation and decision-making.
