Nantong Tobacco Build A Modern Logistics System Research

After years of efforts, China Tobacco has made significant progress and become one of pillar industries in the national economic system. As one of them,Nantong Tobacco Company now are also marching in the journey of building a modern tobacco.An efficient modern logistics system is an essential feature of modern tobacco. Building a modern logistics system of tobacco, not only need to build a modern logistics center, but also the main line of supply chain management,information as the core, the enterprise business process reengineering as a means, through the integration of resources, implementation of scientific management and standardized services, to achieve objectives of truly reducing costs and improving service quality. This is the only way to face of future competition and improve core competitiveness.Based on work experience in tobacco sales for decades,the author refers to a large number of documents related into logistics and distribution, SWOT analysis, supply chain management, information management and other related theoretical data.By studying the current situation and existing problems of logistics system, the author puts forward to optimizing the network resources, recycling business process, the use of information technology means to strengthen management and control in all aspects, optimizing internal processes, to promote the building of modern logistics system.The main content of this paper is divided into five sections. Introduction section discusses the background and the purpose of research, the importance of building a modern logistics system; the second part is the part of the basic logistics theory,takes it as the theoretical guidance for the building a modern logistics system in Nantong Tobacco,by in-depth discussion about theory of modern logistics and other related search.The third part is the description and analysis of the status and the problems of logistics and distribution system; The fouth part is the focus of the article, proposes the path to modern logistics system gradually. The final part is the part of conclusions and recommendations, through the summary of the previous review, strengthens the necessity of building a modern logistics, and proposes suggestions such as depthing "7S on-site management method", attention to personnel development of logistics and so on.
