A country's industrial structure holds a leading position in the country's economic growth, it is not only related to the country's own industry development and domestic supply and demand, but also related to international capital flows, international trade and other external factors. So as a new form of emerging international trade, does international service outsourcing have effect on the upgrading of industrial structure And if it has, is the influence positive or negative And what the mechanism is If they have a long-term and stable relationThis thesis uses five parts to explain above issues. First, this thesis introduces the concept of international service outsourcing and the upgrading of industrial structure, and summarizes three theory paths that service outsourcing promote the upgrading of industrial structure: technical progress, capital accumulation and employment effects. Then, the paper analyzes the current situation and challenge of China's international service outsourcing and industrial structure: Our service outsourcing industry is developing rapidly recently, and has a huge potential for development, and the industrial structure is adjusting and upgrading. But now our service outsourcing industry still stay the low position of industry value chain, and its malignant competition can hamper the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and led to the uneven development of the region. After that, the paper adopts co-integration analysis to prove that undertaking service outsourcing can promote the upgrading of industrial structure, the results show that the international service outsourcing has positive effect on the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, and they have long-term and stable relations. Following the use of empirical analysis, this article using the comparison method to analyze that how India's service outsourcing promoted its industrial structure upgrading, and find some experience suitable for China. Finally, based on the challenges, empirical study results and India's experience mentioned above, the article gives some suggestions: the government, the industry association and the enterprise should get together to eliminate obstructs and promote the development of the service outsourcing industry.
