Research On Evaluating The Development Level Of Chinese Inland Port

In the environment of international economic rapid development and economic openness, the trade between countries is more frequent and the international maritime trade volume is growing with high speed. In order to adapt to the market, all countries are beginning expensing and reconstructing the ports, which occurs the growing competition between the ports. As the coastal port, In order to improve the competitiveness of itself, they need to win more supply of goods, so their perspective would move to the inland city near them. For its own development and greater participation in the international economy, the inland cities are eager to cooperate with the coastal ports to build their own ports. In such an environment, inland port came into being, in order to operate an inland port, it is very important to evaluate its potential development.Based on this, this paper uses the theory and practical, combined with qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to evaluate the potential development of the inland port. First, the thesis detail elaborates the theory of inland port, it firstly leads to the concept of inland port, and compares the differences among several similar concepts. From the macro and micro perspectives, it presents the functions and types of inland port. Finally, based China's national conditions, it discusses the three modes for inland port.Second, combining the development characteristics of inland port, it analysis the various factors which influences the potential development of inland port systematically. Based on the principle of index selection, this paper constructs a comprehensive index system to evaluate inland port development potential. A model of AHP-FUZZY comprehensive evaluation is designed. Then detailed description for steps of using the method of analytic hierarchy process to confirm indicator weight and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to make a comprehensive evaluation is provided.Take Shenyang East Station inland port as an example, First use of AHP to calculate the indicator weight of various indicators which influences the potential development of inland port, then calculate the calculate the degree of membership, At last, by the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, it came to the potential development level of Shenyang East Station inland port. Hope that this evaluation process and the results will provide a reference value for better operating the inland port.
