Along with the high speed development of the network information technology, the digitalreference service has become the service which is the fastest, most innovative on library range. Itbreaks the limitations of the traditional reference service, and uses the Internet which can provide anew service mode for the readers. Along with the development of the digital reference service, theresearch on digital reference service also has become the focus of attention increasingly, but theresearch to the digital reference service quality is very backward, not only is the lack of evaluationcriterion uniform, but also there is no systematic evaluation system. Therefore, it is necessary todevelop the quality evaluation of the digital reference service, also of the positive practicalsignificance. This thesis uses literature research, comparative analysis and empirical analysismethods based on the analysis of the current situation of the digital reference service, introductionthe QFD of the economics theory, and build the model which based on the QFD digital referenceservice quality evaluation. And set of the reference system, reference management, reference results,and reference object as the evaluation index, to construction of the digital reference service qualityevaluation system, and to prove the feasibility of the method through the examples. In the final, onthe basis of analysis and summary of the evaluation results, put forward the suggestions of the digitalreference service quality improvement which can fit the national condition for our country, based onthe analysis of the existing digital reference service quality evaluation method, put forward thesuggestions to improve the methods of the digital reference service quality.
