Micro Inertial Navigation System (MINS) is based on Newtonian mechanics theorems, we sampled the acceleration signal of the carrier by inertial sensors, such as acceleration sensor or gyroscope. And then, the sample acceleration value is used to take the integral to get the speed value and displacement value of the carrier. We can use acceleration sensor to sense the navigation information of the moving objects, acceleration, speed and position for example. Therefore, it is of great significance to carry out the study of accelerometer-based positioning system.In this thesis, the acceleration sensor MMA7260is used to sample the acceleration of an object as the core component, and then, we use wireless sensor network to transfer the signal. In this thesis, we combine MMA7260and WSN to set up the WSN positioning system which is based on the acceleration sensor.The contents of this thesis include the following sections:1) Present architecture of the positioning system:After introducing the typical micro inertial measurement unit systems, we present the special architecture of this positioning system. Concerned of the type of inertial navigation system, the prominent characteristic of this system architecture is that the system is both a flatbed system and a strapdown system, and combines the advantages of both.2) Establish the basic hardware system:According to the features of the MMA7260, we design the peripheral circuits and the signal acquisition circuit; Considering the topics need, we design the wireless sensor network nodes. The WSN nodes and Wi-Fi are introduced into the system hardware, compared with the traditional cable transmission of the positioning system, which are more application prospects and advantages.3) Complete the software design of the positioning system:According to the basic hardware system, we design the matched software system, achieve the sampling of the acceleration signal, transmission and infinitesimal calculus. According to the features of the MMA7260, we designed a new integration algorithm, and especially designed the algorithm of filtering, the static value calibration and the movement endpoint detection. The design of the new integration algorithm is the key of this thesis.4) Test experiment and data analysis:We test the real time motion data of the moving objects in linear motion of one or two dimensional. Through statistical analysis, we can get the conclusion that the positioning error is less than5%, which achieves the desired positioning target.5) Summarize the works of system development comprehensively, looking further research work.
