Oil exploration and development industries include many professional categories. Becausethese professions do not follow uniform standard in the professional construction process,which leads to data heterogeneous phenomenon, the data exchange between variousprofessions is severely restricted. In order to solve the problem, the Petrotechnical OpenStandards Consortium (POSC) puts forward series of professional exchange standards.This thesis focuses on the series specifications of POSC energy electronic exchangestandard and its exchange service model. Because POSC energy electronic standard employsXML technology to define series schema files of the related professional data exchange, andthese exchange schema files are far from meeting the China oil industry related fields'demand for data exchange. Therefore, combined with data exchange business demand ofChina petroleum industry related fields, expansion of the exchange schema defined by POSCis put into research as emphasis. In view of the existed problem that oil exploration anddevelopment data model (EPDM) does not match POSC energy electronic standard data itemson the schema definition, this thesis puts forward some preliminary rules that the POSCenergy electronic standard shema should follow to extend, which accordingly providereferences to POSC energy electronic standard expansion.On the basis of fully research on heterogeneous relational data exchange theory, thisthesis puts forward a data exchange system structure based on the POSC energy electronicstandard, namely, coding relational model data, then forming XML files which conform toPOSC energy electronic standard schema, as middlewares to exchange data, ensuring thereal-time and consistency of data exchange to some extent. The object-oriented buildingmodel ideas is referenced to analyze, determine and design oil exploration and developmentdata objects.Through deeply research on the object and relational mapping mechanism, theimpedance matching problem between the data model and the relationship data model isavoided, and the purpose to separate business logic layer and data storage is achieved. Takingadvantage of the character that object model data and XML data can be abstracted into treestructures, a method which transfers data object to XML data is proposed, and thecorresponding data mapping rules are formulated. In order to validate that the proposed dataexchange model based on POSC energy electronic standard has feasibility and correctness, aprototype system is designed and implemented. These research results will lay a preliminarybasis for China petroleum E&P business data application and the formulation of explorationand development data exchange standards conforming to international standards.
