In recent years, the emerging Service-Oriented Computing technology has raised great attention of organizations, which provides efficient way to solve the problem of distributed computing and e-business.Web Service is distributed and independent code solving specific problems running on heterogeneous platforms. The services can be published and discovered using proper service description language by specific protocol. Then they combine and become a bigger service to accomplish the users? needs. Web Service Composition technology is a widespread instantiation of SOC, it could cross different enterprises and platforms, combine the services to foster a better single and big service to fulfill the growing need of the users.Web services can communicate with each other through the exchange of messages. They are all built on XML-based open standards and enable dynamic connections and the automation of business processes. This kind of combination technology is just called Web Service Composition. There have been lots of Web Service Composition methods like BPLE,OWL-S and so on. This article provides a model based on program slice and web component, using WordNet to make the service composition more semantic, more natural and suitable for the users. When the web services are composing, we divide the original service to some smaller ones by the program slicing technology. By this way we can abstract the real functional part of code. Then we combine them using WordNet which compares the similarity of the information from different ports among the web services. So the result of composing will become more semantic and intelligent for the users.
