With the rapid development of optical fiber communicationand wireless communication, at thesame time, as the huge transmission capacity of optical fiber communication and the convenient ofwireless communication, human begin integrate this two techonologies into wireless opticalcommunication. With the development of wireless optical communication, the importance of thekey technologies, such as acquisition tracking and pointing(ATP) is becoming more and moreprominent. Because of the ATP system need high precision to adjust the acquisition light beam bytracking and pointing, position sensitive detector(PSD) as the error detection device to improve theprecision of ATP system is extremely important. Through the analysis, the important thing toimprove the precision of PSDis to eliminate the interference of background light onPSD.In this thesis, the author gives the research of the method to eliminate the interference ofbackground light on PSD. The discussion of this content consists of three parts: first, the authorgives the modle and structure of Free Space Optical Communication(FSO); then, introduces whichis the error detection device in ATP system; at last, analysis the interference of background light onPSD. The main contributions of this thesis is analyzing the deficiencies of the exiting two methodsto eliminate the interference of backgrond and giving the The Cancellation Research of PSDBackground Light Interference based on SPPs. By giving the data simulation on Kretschmannstructure, and building the isosceles micro-triangular structure for the principle on Kretschmannstructure, the research in this thesis can eliminate the interference of background light. At the sametime, this research can verificate by simulating on finite defference time domain(FDTD) andNumericalAnalysis.
