Spatial spectrum estimation is an important area in arrar signal processing, which attracts lots of concentrations because of the high performance and widely application. In the past three decades, many experts and scholars on the direction of a broad and in-depth study of the disciplines associated with the field to get a great deal of development. The main content of this thesis is as follows:Firstly, introducing the system structure and its mathematical model of the spatial, this paper has theoretical researched the Capon algorithm and the forward prediction (LP) algorithm and minimal mode (MNM) algorithm and the classical MUSIC algorithm. Then realize the DOA estimation through MATLAB simulation. Concluded: DOA estimation results with the number of array elements, signal to noise ratio, size, number of snapshots impact.Secondly, the mathematical model of the existence of the anplitude and phase errors of array error is studied. The performance of the ideal situation and the case exists in the error have compared. The results showed that:the presence of amplitude and phase errors on the estimation performance of MUSIC algorithm can not be ignored. In the last, the two current calibration algorithms have been introduced roughly. Finally, Aiming at the partially calibrated uniform linear array(ULA), a gain-phase error and direction-of-arrival(DOA) joint estimation method is presented in this paper. The comparation about performance between the calssic MUSIC algorithm and the algorithm against different error conditions has studied.Concludes that :the numbers of signal source have nothing with calibration in this paper.
