With the rapid development of the computer technology, the major hospitals in China have carried out the information construction one after another and established their own hospital information system (Hospital Information System, i.e. HIS). Today, following the size and the capacity of the database becoming larger, the complexity of the data also increases. After years of applications, some large hospitals have accumulated massive data, but the current processing of the database still remains with some traditional operations, such as adding, deletion, querying, statistic etc. Therefore, how to find out some valuable and potential information in these huge amounts of data has become the problem which major hospitals need to solve in the process of informationization. Hence, the technology of the medical information data mining in HIS has become a trend. In recent years, the technology of data mining has developed rapidly and its theory has become more sophisticated. Today, the data mining technology has being used in the area of commerce, finance, network, pharmaceuticals, scientific research etc, but still in the preliminary stage of medical information application. We proposed three problems which based on the patients treatment situation analysis of LongHua Hospital.1, the analysis of outpatient waiting time.2, the analysis of the medical Insurance patients before treatment, post-paid mode (stop payment) queue waiting time.3, the prediction of the patient's number. The solutions include the data warehouse construction and data preparation, design dimensional design and size, multidimensional data model, analysis and design, and the realization of data mining functions and applications.Through using association rules algorithm technology and timing behavior model of the patient to hospital, we could understand the problems which patients face in this paper. We put forward the decision-making basis to improve the quality of outpatient services, to optimize medical treatment process of the patients, and resolve the patients' "difficult" issue. Then the relations between doctors and patients could become more harmonious.
