Ultrasonic detection is a kind of projects in the widely used nondestructivetesting technology, has the advantages of high sensitivity, strong penetrating power,rapid detection speed, low cost, simple equipment and portable and is harmless tohuman body and a series of advantages. Ultrasonic detection system relates toacoustics, digital signal processing and computer hardware design, is a comprehensivediscipline system, and now are digital, intelligent direction. Therefore in the ultrasonictesting system for actual design, through theoretical analysis and simulationprogramming to carry out ultrasonic detection system is very meaningful.This paper mainly studies the quantization error of ultrasonic detection systemmedium parameters influence, which is to improve the quality of ultrasonic inspectionis of important significance. First introduced the quantitative processing of severalbasic methods, including the uniform quantization, no uniform quantization (A lawand μ law). The uniform and no uniform quantization method for processing3layermodel in time domain ultrasonic reflected signal, by quantifying the processedultrasonic reflected signal transmission function calculation, analysis of differentquantization treatment after the transfer function characteristic, finally using acousticimpedance analytic formula, and quantified by the transfer function to obtain theacoustic impedance calculation results, study the quantization treatment on thecalculation results of the influence of acoustic impedance.In this paper, through simulation and analysis, found the uniform and no uniformquantization to the ultrasonic signal transmission function bring quantization error,but with the quantize increases, the quantization error is smaller. In the same series,no uniform quantization for ultrasonic signal processing effect is better. Acousticimpedance calculation results show that the quantization error of the calculated results,the true value distribution, with the quantification of the increase in the series, the calculation results significantly narrowed. In addition, the frequency interval increasescan also make the calculation result has narrowed, suggesting that, quantize andadopting large frequency intervals has better anti jamming and anti noise capability.In this paper, the results of numerical simulation and analysis on practical ultrasonicdetection system for quantitative design has certain reference significance.
