ABSTRACT:Ultraviolet photodetectors have drawn particular attention due to their potential application as UV curing monitors, sterilization monitors, etc. The inorganic semiconductor based PDs require complicated manufacturing processes, high cost, and so on.Thus organic UV-PDs are considered as a complementary alternative for the inorganic ones.First, we made UV-PDs with architecture of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/NPB/Liq/Al and ITO/PEDOT:PSS/NPB/A1, and we made research in the absorption spectrum of the material, the response of the device and the current-voltage characteristic.Second, UV-PD with the structure of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/NPB/Liq/Al were fabricated. We studied the relationship between the film thickness and the device performance.Third, we improved the device performance by adding the layer LiF.
