Design And Manufacture Of Fast Rectifier Diode Of 10KHZ Resistance Welder

With development of modern technology led by automobiles, ships, aircraft, high-speed rail, the demand for resistance welding machines increases dramatically. This paper mainly discusses the formation and development of high frequency resistance welding machines, especially mentions the demand for large current fast recovery diode. In addition, this thesis analyzes the modern techniques, characteristics and parameters required for FRD, particularly for resistance welding machine with a large current technical FRD.In order to successfully develop and produce high-frequency FRD devices used by resistance welding machine, completely design calculation is given by this thesis. The advanced techniques and key process procedures such as ultra-thin silicon technology, ultra-thin package structure technology, low concentration of anode technology especially double-base technique implemented with buffer layer are also discussed in this paper. Ultimately, by using platinum diffusion technology with maintaining of phosphorus silicate glass layer, diode breakdown technology and stress-free manufacturing technology, the FRD5000A-200V is fabricated.Under the guidance of the correct theory, the FRD5000A-200V used in 10 KHz resistance welding machine achieves the entire requirement from the first-test, mid-test, and production to customer field application.Testing and application feedback shows that product has excellent electric parameters and is appraised by the customers alike. This product fills the gaps in this area and has reached international advanced level. The mass producing FRD increases the profit of the cooperation, promote the development of national resistance welding machine, thus contributes to the development of automobile and other large industry.
