During the internship in Asiainfo-Linkage Technology Company, I participated in a project named as Original UniTouch System (OUS), which is part of BI (Business Intelligence) Platform Suite developed by our company. Due to the SMS gateway server opening in the Internet, the original system is facing two security risks:the gateway server is vulnerable, and the plaintext transmitted to the gateway is unsafe.In view of this, this paper proposes the Safe SMS scheme, which is the improved version of current system and is safer. By combining Web Service, proxy and authenticated encryption techniques, the new system can avoid the safety problem, meanwhile keep good performance.The work could be summarized as follows:1. An improved architecture is proposed. By combining Web Service, agent and authenticated encryption techniques, the new one avoids the two problems in the old system.2. The whole system is implemented by combining the Web Service, proxy and authenticated encryption techniques.3. We carried out some experiments to verify our proposal. The result shows that this Safe SMS scheme can ensure the secure transmission of information, meanwhile keep an agreeable performance.During operation and trial operation, each module shows complete functions, fine performances and stable operation, the improved system meets the scheme design, meanwhile achieves the goal of improving the whole system security.
