Security Alarm Systems, which are used to protect public safety and personal property, act as an effective supplement to maintain social order. They are proved to be with good social and economic benefits. In view of great market potential in home users and trends to build large-scale alarm network, the Alarm Management System over Large-region which is an important application of Cyber Physical System in the field of security is proposed. With GPRS as its data transmission technology, the Alarm Management System can not only provide operators with multiple forms of alarm information such as texts, sounds, locations on electronic map, pictures of monitored site, but also facilitates operators to control alarm equipments remotely. In addition, the system also makes it easy for residents and other relative people to find out real-time alarm information with limits of authority. Therefore, it is compatible with both single-family and interconnecting alarm mode. Besides it is also favorable to large-scale network with structured management. Relative to existing alarm systems, the system we raised has better flexibility, scalability and openness.The thesis first completely plans the system, and then accomplishes the software development of Alarm Management Platform. The key contributions are as follows:1. The system scheme with good reliability, timeliness and security was brought out based on GPRS transmission technology and B/S, C/S mixed architecture.2. The secure protocol based on AES encryption algorithm was presented, which strictly regulates the authentication and interactive process between alarm equipments and Alarm-Receiving Software in order to ensure effectiveness, integrity and security of their communication.3. The fully functional Alarm-Receiving Software was realized, with its communication sub-module receiving real-time alarm information based on Windows Message Mechanism and cooperating with the management sub-module under "Producer and Consumer Principle". It's proved to be timely and reliable. 4. The Central Management Software was developed. It improved the reliability and flexibility by providing remote control over alarm equipments and multiple forms of alarm information such as locations on electronic map and real-time pictures of monitored site.5. A Web Service System was structured. It settled the problem of concurrency and security of database access, and realized real-time data publishing on web through Server Push-Technology. By this way all the residents and managers can get the real-time alarm information from web anytime they want.
