With the aging and urbanization of society, hearing disorder caused by age and noise has influenced social economy of China seriously. A hearing aids with high performance and affordable should be researched to its important social significance. In this paper, research focused on digital hearing aids. A technology based on generalized sidelobe canceller(GSC) was discussed to improve disadvantages existed in GSC structure speech enhancement in hearing aids.1. This paper summarized the characteristics of Chinese and the technology used in hearing aids, including compression technology, feedback cancellation, speech enhancement and frequency transposition, Analyzed the various technology and discussed trend of development.2. Research on research status, principle and several commonly microphone array speech enhancement, the advantage of adaptive beamformer algorithm used in hearing aids was considered. The paper focused on research the principle of adaptive beamformer algorithm based on the microphone array.3. To solve the leak of speech existed in this algorithm, a speech processing technology was proposed to compensate the leak of speech. In this technology, amplitude spectrum envelope was modified to improve the similarity between spectrum envelope and the pitch contour with the information of pitch frequency curves so that the intelligibility of speech is improved. Considering that the speech signal has a great loss in the high frequency range, as a characteristic of the leak information, a consonant amplification method has been shown in this paper to raise the energy of voiceless consonant, reduce the noise energy and improve speech intelligibility without changing the formant structure. The simulation results show that this speech processing technology is able to compensate the leak of speech.
