With the development of mobile communication technology, people enjoyed the convenient it offered. But at the same time people propose further requirements of the higher transmission rates and higher transmission quality, such as mobile Internet and video transmission. This makes the traditional cellular network face enormous challenges. In order to achieve the high data rate, high spectral efficiency and high-coverage targets of the future wireless mobile communication systems, new technologies continue to emerge, which relay cooperative communication technology and multi-input multi-output technology is the typical representative. The relay cooperative communication has many advantages such as expand coverage, improve transmission quality and reduce the cover of'blind spots'role. MIMO technology can enhance system capacity multiply in case that does not increase the spectrum resources and transmit power. MIMO relay communication network is composition of the two technologies, so it will further enhance system performance. In relay network, the role of the relay is forwarding the signal, and the way relay forward signal will have a significant impact on system performance. So a important way to improve the performance of relay system is optimize relay matrix.Firstly, this article analyzes relay matrix optimization principles and draws two relay matrix optimization principles: the equivalent matrix triangulation principle and the equivalent matrix diagonalization principle.Secondly, based on the theory of pre-coding and detection technology for MIMO systems, this article use the equivalent matrix diagonalization principle and put forward a minimum mean square error receive - matching send beamforming scheme, which is suit for the situation when the second hop channel is not ideal. Simulations prove that its capacity and bit error rate is better than schemes that already exist.
