With the development of network and communication technology, multimedia technology take a major forward step, especially when the digital technology of wide and successful applications in the computer industry, greatly facilitates the multimedia information storage, processing and network transmission. As multimedia and interdisciplinary network of streaming media technology, the way the previous multimedia applications, has been changed, making the stream to become a reality. The main feature of streaming watching while downloading, flow in the form of digital media delivery, not downloaded from the server firstly, so that people can enjoy continuous online multimedia. With streaming media to be more widely, however, to be penetrated into some of the areas of commercial or confidential, thus the introduction of streaming media data encryption, as well as confidentiality is guaranteed, to improve the flow of media data transmission security.The major study subject focuses on technology about real-time streaming media encryption transmission, which aims to build a real-time data collection with encryption, transmission and playback of multimedia transmission system. Through the LAN implementation, the system for the study and implementation of video conferencing in the P2P transfer of data encryption and lay a solid foundation.In this paper, the main content includes the follows,(1) Describes these key technologies related to the transmission of streaming media encryption, such as streaming media technology, multimedia transmission control technology, and streaming media encode and decode technology, P2P technology, and NAT traversing technology.(2) Carries out in-depth study of the UDT protocol, and simulates to verify its main advantage with the NS2 simulation software, and analyses the security encryption programs for streaming media.(3) Research the ARM-Linux embedded system, introduces to build cross-compilation ARM processor, and transplant embedded Linux operating system, and use the UDT transport protocol to complete a local area network transmission system of streaming media encryption, based on the ARM9 TQ2440.(4) Studies the P2P-based services architecture of the video conferencing system, in order to ensure that P2P-based video conferencing technology, and system security and privacy, a security architecture and safety management strategy approach are framed to meet the basic security needs for a set of P2P video conferencing.
