As SOA has been widely used nowadays in variety of business applicatons for interop-erability across systems and organizations, the demand for tracking and monitoring business data for SOA-based e-business application which involves multi-party collaboration is growing which is no longer confined within the enterprise. During the collaborative busi-ness process, it is very difficult to have a full command of the status the business is going from a global perspective due to the complicated data exchanges which involves multiple systems. In this paper, we research BPM, BAM used by many enterprises nowadays, finding that most solutions are based on single BPEL engine and only care about internal or external processes they are involved in which is quite different from a global view. Furth more, some theoretical research in this field were compared to find the problems and difficulties that need urgent solution. Combined with the enterprises'business requirement and the research in this area, this paper proposes a business process montoring tool for multi-party collabora-tion application based on choreography model. The choreography model based on WS-CDL specification is the description for mul-ti-party collaboration. The automatically generated monitoring metadata model using this choreography model can ensure the correctness of the implementation and provide the data source for the monitoring component. In addition, a network data packet capturing method is applied to get the run-time data. This method gets rid of the tedious work to develop adapters for different business processes. The architecture of the monitoring system, the rules for defining monitored objects, and the algorithm for capturing interaction messages are described in this paper.
